lifewithsolaris is back!

still around, but I don't know about it.. Frankly, I wish the author would contact me so we can setup a .ru mirror and ignore such legal garbage..

So back to the point.. lifewithsolaris is gone, but be assured that like Ubuntu and every other linux distribution the OSUNIX project is going to make it easy/sane to get all your multimedia functionality with a few clicks.  I did the port of mplayer to sun cc a while back and recently spent some time trying to merge that patch with mplayer trunk, but realized it's simply not the best solution long term.  Anyway.. so if you're interested in how to easily get mplayer rolling on OpenSolaris shoot me an email or leave a comment.. For now I'm still working on OSUNIX so we can replace hack solutions like lifewithsolaris long term.
